Background on Microsoft stop developing Internet Explorer:
The only version of Internet Explorer that Microsoft still supports is version 11. Internet Explorer 11 was first released in 2013, which makes it a very old and outdated browser. Microsoft is no longer developing Internet Explorer and only releases security updates for it now. Also, Microsoft now has its Edge browser, which was released with Windows 10, and is their replacement for Internet Explorer.
