Dr. Zahavi is a graduate of the University of Toronto medical school, class of 1989. He is a family physician and he has practiced in both family medicine and emergency medicine since that time with over 30 years of experience in both adult and pediatric care. He has a busy family practice in Durham, Ontario. He also has a GP focused practice designation in Chronic Pain and practices at the Jacobs Pain Centre in Markham, Ontario. He is a Diplomate of the Canadian Academy of Pain Management. He also has a strong interest in patient and physician education.
