You can indicate that you have lab results that you want your doctor to review when you book your appointment. We will provide you with instructions on how to send the information to us at that time.
A lab order or referral can be provided by your doctor as needed.
Yes, our physicians can provide you with a digital sick note for your work or school if needed. A consultation must be made for us to assess your condition. There is a fee for this service.
You can speak with your doctor through a secure video connection or over the phone.
The Gotodoctor.ca platform supports mobile/tablet/desktop devices.
You can select your preferred pharmacy. If you do not have a preferred pharmacy, Gotodoctor.ca offers a list of nearby pharmacies to choose from.
Our doctor will send the prescription to the selected pharmacy, and you can pick it up there or ask for home delivery. Your preferred pharmacy locations will be saved in our certified electronic medical records.
Yes, you can request a specific doctor by sending a message when you book your appointment. If you’re requesting a doctor you have seen before, we recognize this can help with continuity of care.
Appointments are subject to availability of our doctors but we always try to accommodate when possible. Just request the doctor in the message box when making your online booking.
Once we have your request, the system will try to schedule you with the same doctor you saw on your last visit based on their availability; or we will provide an option for the next available appointment with the requested doctor.
Our professional team of 70+ licensed Canadian doctors are available 7 days a week. Many of them have their own in-person family practice with Enhanced Care and regularly provide virtual care at Gotodoctor.ca.
