May 23, 2021 – Gotodoctor.ca (Teledact Inc.), a leader in telemedicine and virtual care, continues to expand its capabilities to meet the health needs of Canadians through the addition of four new virtual clinic locations and the acquisition of a healthcare IT organization.

Of the new locations, two are located in Brampton, Ontario and two are in Winnipeg, Manitoba. These newest expansions in Ontario and Manitoba reflect the growing demand for virtual care, and will help patients to get assistance from health professionals and additional point-of-care diagnostic tools, when virtual care at home or at work is not enough.

Gotodoctor.ca has also reached an agreement to acquire majority interest in HD Solutions, a healthcare IT organization servicing over 30 health and medical clinics. The strengths and competencies of HD Solutions will further enable Gotodoctor.ca to bring innovation to more physicians and health professionals and implement technology solutions in the future.

The existing managing partners will continue to lead operations and retain ownership of the remaining shares. HD Solutions will also change its name to HD Solutions Canada to reflect its expanding service in Ontario and other provinces.
