August 4, 2022 – Gotodoctor.ca (“Gotodoctor.ca” or the “Company”), a leading healthcare solution company in Canada, is pleased to announce the service expansion of the in-person Covid, Cold and Flu Care Clinic in Georgina, in partnership with the Southlake Community Ontario Health Team (“Southlake Community OHT”). The clinic has been moved to its new location at 155 Riverglen Drive, Keswick and service is also extended until 2023.

The Covid, Cold and Flu Care Clinic in Georgina was first opened in March 2022 at Belhaven Community Hall. The clinic supports in-person care for those experiencing cold, flu, or COVID-like symptoms, a service that is not offered by most in-person clinics especially in the rural or underserved areas. The clinic is operated by Gotodoctor.ca and is staffed by physicians, nurses and medical professionals from the local communities. 

At the new facility, the clinic now has an increased footprint, with multiple examination rooms, washrooms and entrances. Children from age 18 months and up, and adults are welcome at the clinic. They do not need to have a family doctor or nurse practitioner as their primary care provider. A health card is also not needed to attend the clinic. The clinic is available in evenings and weekends, and allows patients to book appointments by phone or online directly.

Many health concerns cannot be addressed only by virtual care. Recognizing that, Gotodoctor.ca has successfully integrated virtual care with pharmacies and in-person clinics, establishing its one-of-a-kind service delivery model and delivering comprehensive primary care to patients when needed. The Company now services government, insurance providers, and a wide array of organizations across Canada.
