Published May 9, 2021

May 9, 2021 – Teledact Inc. (Gotodoctor.ca) is pleased to share with you the 2021 Pharmacy U education session presented by our award-winning pharmacy partner Samier Kamar of High St Guardian Pharmacy in Peterborough, ON.

The hour-long session titled, “Pharmacy-Based Telemedicine: How Virtual Care and Integrated Data Can Help Improve Patient Outcomes” is ideal for pharmacists interested in learning how the gotodoctor.ca platform can enhance both patient care and pharmacy practice. A recording of the session is available here.

Samier explores how pharmacists can better serve their patients and grow their practice by sharing important insights about pharmacy-based telemedicine including: 1) how to engage patients, 2) how to work effectively with physicians to deliver integrated care, and 3) how to incorporate telemedicine into pharmacy practice.

Samier’s early adoption of the gotodoctor.ca telemedicine platform was a key driver in his receiving the 2021 Business Innovation Award. A recording of the Innovator Awards ceremony can be viewed here.
