Sam Yassi, Director, Clinic and Physician Services

Sam Yassi will be the new Director, Clinic and Physician Services. Sam started as the Clinic Manager at the Aurora Yonge location in 2014. He was promoted to the Senior Manager, Operations and Physician Relations in 2019. During that time, Sam has contributed significantly to the expansion of family practice across the Enhanced Care Clinic network and also virtual physician service. In this new position, Sam will continue to drive the seamless integration of virtual and in-person services for the Gotodoctor.ca platform and in-person clinics.

Sam grew up in Aurora, Ontario, and graduated from the Biology Program at York University and also completed his Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affair and Quality Operations Program from Seneca College. Sam has experience in operation management and store merchandising.

Sony Nguyen, Senior Manager, Finance and Partnership

Sony has been promoted to Senior Manager, Finance and Partnership. In his new role, he will focus on accelerating new service partnerships, while continuing on capital raising and strategic investments.

Sony joined Gotodoctor.ca in 2021 as the Manager, Finance and Asset Management. He has been instrumental in negotiating and successfully establishing relationships with a number of key partners. Sony has a diverse background including experience in finance, venture capital and consulting. He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics & statistics.

Piyush Arora, Senior Manager, Technology Development

Piyush joined Gotodoctor.ca in 2021 as the Project Manager in the Technology unit. He has been leading the development of our in-house platform and integration with new insurance and pharmacy partners. Piyush will take on the new position of Senior Manager, Technology Development. He will manage and provide directions to our team of software development and project management experts to further the innovation in our virtual/in-person systems and patent-pending Service Engine technologies. 

Piyush graduated from the Project management program at George Brown College and has experience working in Kognitive marketing and Amber Enterprises(Research and Development facility).

Cecilia Shen, Senior Manager, Accounting Services

Cecilia joined the Accounting team at Enhanced Care Clinic in 2013. She took the role of the Accounting Manager/Accountant in 2019. Cecilia oversees the accounting team that services the diverse portfolio of companies and services of Enhanced Care and Gotodoctor.ca across Canada. Cecilia will take on a role as the Senior Manager, Accounting Services.

Cecilia has a master degree from University of Montreal. She has also successfully achieved her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2015.
