April 13, 2022 – Gotodoctor.ca, (the “Company”), an integrated healthcare solution company in Canada, is pleased to announce two new virtual clinics located at Rexall pharmacies. The new Gotodoctor.ca pharmacist-assisted virtual clinics are located in both urban and rural areas.

Rexall Pharmacy is one of the most well known pharmacy brands in Canada, with over 400 locations across the country, operated by McKesson Canada. Gotodoctor.ca has also been providing Direct-to-Consumer (B2C) virtual service for Rexall.ca since 2021. This new initiative will extend the service and allow the pharmacy team to directly refer patients to connect with Canadian physicians at Gotodoctor.ca platform. With this added network of access points, patients will now be able to find in-person clinic and virtual care pharmacy locations near them, and get assistance from health professionals. 

Gotodoctor.ca has been the exclusive provider of Physician and Medical Clinic for McKesson’s Retail Banner Group (over 2000 IDA, Guardian, Remedy’sRx and other independent pharmacies) since 2017. With its proprietary Service Engine technology, Gotodoctor.ca provides a more responsive healthcare delivery platform to connect patients, physicians and other health service providers. Gotodoctor.ca’s virtual care services are available in pharmacies, senior living, and other health facilities, as well as online through McKesson Canada’s customer-facing pharmacy web portals.

The expected launch date for these new locations will be in Q2 of 2022. More details on the implementation and additional service development to be provided.
